Instructions
- Brown the ground beef until no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Sauté the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic for about 3 to 5 minutes until softened.
- Mix in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the elbow macaroni and stir to combine.
- Simmer covered on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm, topping with grated cheese if desired.
