Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp salt
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
½ cup reduced apple cider
¼ cup melted butter
¼ cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease donut pans.
2. Reduce apple cider to ½ cup and let cool.
3. Whisk dry ingredients together.
4. Mix wet ingredients in another bowl.
5. Combine both until smooth.
6. Pipe batter into donut pans (¾ full).
7. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden.
8. Cool slightly, then roll in cinnamon-sugar.
Notes
Tip: Reduce apple cider ahead of time for stronger flavor.
