Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp dried thyme
1 apple, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry and season lightly.
2. Whisk maple syrup, vinegar, oil, garlic, mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3. Marinate chicken for 15–30 minutes.
4. Heat skillet and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side.
5. Add apples and remaining marinade; simmer 10 minutes.
6. Cook until internal temp is 165°F.
