Description
Crispy golden taco shells filled with sweet, spiced apple filling — a fun twist on classic apple pie.
Ingredients
3 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
8 small flour tortillas
2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar + 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Whipped cream, caramel drizzle (optional)
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté apples with sugar and cinnamon.
2. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
3. Brush tortillas with melted butter and coat with cinnamon sugar.
4. Bake or air fry tortillas until crispy.
5. Fill taco shells with warm apple mixture.
6. Top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle crushed graham crackers inside the shell.
Best served fresh. Store filling separately for up to 2 days.
