Description
These Bat-Shaped Chicken Nuggets are juicy, crispy, and so much fun for themed meals or family dinners ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
2 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Cut or grind chicken into small pieces.
2. Mix with olive oil, garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
3. Let marinate for 15–30 minutes.
4. Flatten mixture on parchment paper.
5. Use bat-shaped cutter to form nuggets.
6. Dip each bat in egg wash, then panko.
7. Bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes or pan-fry 3–4 min per side.
8. Ensure internal temp reaches 165°F.
9. Let rest 3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use plant-based chicken for a vegetarian version.
Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
Reheat in oven for best texture.
