Description

An experience full of rich flavors, this Blackened Steak & Shrimp Pasta combines juicy steak, tender shrimp, and creamy pasta, perfect for any special occasion or cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak, ribeye or sirloin
  • 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in boiling salted water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the shrimp and steak generously with blackening seasoning on both sides.
  3. Cook the steak in a large skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  4. Cook the shrimp in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  5. Make the sauce by sautéing minced garlic in the skillet for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and simmer gently.
  6. Add grated Parmesan cheese gradually, stirring until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine cooked pasta, sliced steak, and shrimp in the sauce, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Best served immediately with a simple side salad or garlic bread. Can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
