Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a loaf pan by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Add the shredded cheese to the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  5. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl: milk, melted butter, and egg.
  6. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Slice and serve as desired.
