Description
A comforting and easy-to-make Chicken Alfredo Pasta featuring tender fettuccine pasta coated in a rich Alfredo sauce with juicy chicken.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about a minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add pasta water as needed to adjust the sauce consistency.
- Combine the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken with the Alfredo sauce in the skillet. Toss until evenly coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
For creamier consistency, adjust pasta water as needed. Pairs well with garlic bread or a salad.
