Description

A comforting and easy-to-make Chicken Alfredo Pasta featuring tender fettuccine pasta coated in a rich Alfredo sauce with juicy chicken.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about a minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  4. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add pasta water as needed to adjust the sauce consistency.
  5. Combine the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken with the Alfredo sauce in the skillet. Toss until evenly coated.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For creamier consistency, adjust pasta water as needed. Pairs well with garlic bread or a salad.
