Ingredients

  • 2 grilled chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Prepare the avocado by mashing it and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Assemble the sandwich with grilled chicken, mashed avocado, and shredded cheese.
  5. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
