- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded
- 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup croutons, crushed (optional)
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Begin by gathering all of your ingredients. Having everything ready will make the process much smoother and quicker.
- Mix the salad: In a large bowl, toss together the chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Make sure that the ingredients are well combined.
- Add the dressing: Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the mixture. Use enough to coat the ingredients but not so much that it becomes soggy. Gently toss everything together until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
- Season it up: If you’re using crushed croutons, add them to the mixture now and season with black pepper. If you want a bit of zest, you can finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice at this stage.
- Warm the tortillas: To make the tortillas easier to roll without tearing, warm them for about 10–15 seconds in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Fill the tortillas: Lay the warm tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the chicken Caesar mixture evenly between the tortillas, placing it in the center.
- Wrap it up: Fold in the sides of the tortillas and then roll them tightly from the bottom, ensuring that the filling stays inside.
- Serve or sear: Slice the wraps in half to make them easier to handle and serve immediately. For a crispy exterior, lightly sear the outside in a hot skillet for about 30 seconds per side.
