- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
- Layer the steamed broccoli florets evenly on the bottom of the dish, followed by the shredded chicken.
- Add the prepared cream mixture over the chicken and broccoli.
- Top with grated cheddar cheese and optionally sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until bubbling and golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute the cream of mushroom soup with a low-fat or homemade version and use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
