Description

A quick and delicious meal featuring succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for any weeknight or special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Pasta of your choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbling but not browned.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer; cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
  6. Stir in the chopped parsley for added color and flavor.
  7. Serve immediately over pasta if desired, garnishing with extra parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For freezing, it’s better to freeze just the shrimp without pasta.
