- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Pasta of your choice (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbling but not browned.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer; cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper and mix well.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
- Stir in the chopped parsley for added color and flavor.
- Serve immediately over pasta if desired, garnishing with extra parsley and lemon slices.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For freezing, it’s better to freeze just the shrimp without pasta.
