  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hoagie rolls
  • Sliced provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef: Start by placing the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Add the vegetables and seasonings: Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the meat: Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  4. Shred the beef: Once cooked, shred the beef in the crockpot and mix with the cooking juices.
  5. Prepare the hoagie rolls: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Assemble the sandwiches: Fill hoagie rolls with shredded beef and top with provolone cheese.
