This Decadent Black Forest Cheesecake combines rich chocolate, creamy texture, and sweet cherry topping a luxurious dessert perfect for any celebration.
Ingredients
2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
3 packages (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup melted dark chocolate
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups cherries
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
2. Combine crumbs, butter, and sugar; press into pan.
3. Bake crust for 10 minutes and cool.
4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, and melted chocolate.
5. Add eggs one by one; stir in vanilla.
6. Pour mixture over crust; bake 55–60 minutes.
7. Cool at room temp, refrigerate 4 hours.
8. Cook cherries with sugar and lemon juice; add cornstarch slurry.
9. Top chilled cheesecake with cherry mixture.
Notes
You can use white chocolate for a lighter flavor.
Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze without topping for 2 months.
