- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef: Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Keep stirring until browned.
- Drain the grease: Once browned, carefully drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Add tomatoes and broth: Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
- Add seasoning and pasta: Mix in the Italian seasoning, bring to a boil, then add elbow macaroni and chopped bell pepper.
- Simmer the dish: Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Season and serve: Once macaroni is tender, taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, optionally topped with grated cheese.
