Description
Homemade Pizza Pockets, these make for a quick and easy dinner, a great packed lunch idea, or works perfect for family movie or game night!
Ingredients
1 Roll of Pillsbury Pizza Dough
6 tbsp Pizza Sauce
6 tbsp Mozzarella Cheese
6 tbsp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup Oil
Sprinkle of Oregano Leaves
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Open the pizza crust and unroll it flat onto a sheet of parchment paper. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 6 pieces.
Separate the 6 pieces and gently stretch them out a little.
Add 1 tbsp of pizza sauce and a pinch of mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the corner half of each square.
Fold over each square to make triangular pizza pockets. Seal the edges with a fork.
Brush the top of each triangle with a small amount of oil. Sprinkle some dried oregano on top then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Notes
Freeze before baking for a quick future meal.
Try variations like BBQ chicken, veggie, or ham & cheese.
Serve with extra marinara for dipping!
