Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch cake pan.
  3. Combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Beat the mixture until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Cool the cake for about 10 minutes, then poke holes in the surface with a fork.
  8. Heat the sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans in a saucepan until well combined.
