- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of strawberry pie filling
- 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing it.
- Mix the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl until well combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Add the strawberry pie filling evenly over the layer of cake batter.
- Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top of the strawberry filling.
- Finish by pouring the remaining cake batter over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before topping with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
- Serve sliced into squares and enjoy!
