Energizing Banana Oatmeal Bars Healthy Snack On-the-Go. Soft, chewy, and naturally sweet with ripe bananas and oats.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup honey or date syrup
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Optional: nuts, seeds, or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish.
2. Mash bananas until smooth.
3. Add honey, coconut oil, vanilla, and cinnamon.
4. Stir in oats and salt until well combined.
5. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
6. Spread mixture evenly and bake for 20–25 minutes.
7. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Store bars in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freeze up to 3 months and thaw before eating.
Use date syrup for a vegan version.
