Ingredients
6 thick slices brioche or challah bread
3 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Butter for frying
Maple syrup or honey for dipping
Instructions
1. Cut bread into thick sticks.
2. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
3. Dip bread sticks quickly into custard mixture.
4. Cook on buttered skillet 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
5. Cool slightly before serving with dipping sauce.
Notes
For best results, use slightly stale bread.
Freeze leftovers in a zip bag and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
