Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) carrots, peeled
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Boil carrots for 5–7 minutes until just tender.
2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Stir in brown sugar and honey; whisk until smooth.
4. Add carrots and toss to coat evenly.
5. Cook 5–8 minutes, stirring frequently, until glossy.
6. Let rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use baby carrots for convenience.
Add orange zest for a citrusy twist.
