- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup salsa verde
- 1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Prepare the chicken by rubbing with olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Grill the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 6-7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Add salsa verde over each chicken breast and top with shredded cheese in the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in salsa verde for a few hours. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
