Description

Delightful homemade treats that combine rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter. Customize to your liking for a healthier option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (dark or milk)
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 23 Tbsp maple syrup or powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp coconut flour or almond flour (optional)
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Muffin Tin: Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Create the Chocolate Base: Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of melted chocolate into each liner and spread slightly up the sides. Freeze for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Make the Peanut Butter Filling: In a bowl, mix peanut butter, maple syrup (or powdered sugar), and sea salt until thick and smooth. Add optional flour for thicker texture.
  5. Add the Peanut Butter Layer: Place about 1 teaspoon of peanut butter mixture on each chocolate base and flatten slightly.
  6. Complete the Cups with Chocolate: Spoon remaining melted chocolate over the peanut butter centers and tap gently to smooth the tops.
  7. Chill Until Firm: Freeze for 15–20 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes until set. Peel off paper liners before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week or freeze for up to three months. Let thaw before serving.
