Description
These Homemade French Toast Sticks are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and coated with cinnamon sugar. Perfect for breakfast or snacking!
Ingredients
8 thick bread slices
3 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Butter for frying
Extra cinnamon sugar for coating
Instructions
1. Cut bread into thick sticks.
2. Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla together.
3. Dip bread sticks into the mixture quickly and shake off excess.
4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
5. Cook each stick for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
6. Coat hot sticks with cinnamon sugar.
7. Serve warm with syrup or berries.
Notes
Freeze leftovers in a single layer and reheat in toaster or air fryer. Use dairy-free milk for a vegan version.
