- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and place your cast-iron skillet inside.
- Mix the cornmeal, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Prepare the wet ingredients by whisking together the milk, vegetable oil, and eggs in a separate bowl.
- Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently.
- Transfer the cornbread batter into the hot skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the skillet for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
