Description

A delightful dessert that combines the rich flavor of cheesecake with sweet strawberries, all packed in an easy-to-make cake.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 package cake mix (your choice of yellow or white)
  • 2 cans strawberry pie filling (21 ounces each)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (sliced thin)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 baking dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a medium bowl.
  4. Mix the cake mix into the melted butter until crumbly.
  5. Pour both cans of strawberry pie filling into the baking dish.
  6. Add thin slices of cream cheese evenly over the strawberry filling.
  7. Top with the crumbly cake mixture.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
