Description

A quick and healthy dish combining shrimp, asparagus, and a zesty lemon-garlic flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp and cut asparagus to the skillet and stir well.
  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes until shrimp are pink and asparagus are tender.
  5. Finish with lemon juice for added freshness.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
