Ingredients

  • Heavy cream
  • Butter

  • Cajun seasoning
  • Garlic (minced)

  • Bell peppers (sliced)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes, drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add chopped onions and sliced bell peppers; cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Make the sauce by pouring in heavy cream, adding Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  5. Combine with the drained cooked tortellini, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Add your choice of protein and heat through for 3-5 minutes.
