Description
Festive pumpkin-shaped cookies stuffed with creamy milk chocolate perfect for Halloween parties and family fun!
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
½ cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
6 oz milk chocolate (melted)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and salt, then gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
Chill the dough for 20 minutes to make rolling easier.
Roll out dough on a floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut pumpkin shapes with a cookie cutter. For half the cookies, cut out jack-o-lantern faces (eyes, nose, mouth).
Place uncut cookies on the baking sheet, spoon melted chocolate in the center, and top with “face” cookies. Press edges gently.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden. Do not overbake.
Cool completely before serving to let the chocolate set.
Notes
You can swap milk chocolate with dark or white chocolate.
For extra flavor, add cinnamon or pumpkin spice to the dough.
