Ingredients

- 12 oz Mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the mozzarella into even-sized sticks, about 3-4 inches long.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.
- Dip each mozzarella stick first into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the breaded cheese sticks for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Remove the cheese sticks and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
For additional flavor, try adding spices to the breadcrumbs or experimenting with different types of cheese.
