- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt to the banana-butter mixture.
- Incorporate sugar, the beaten egg, and vanilla extract into the mixture.
- Add flour, stirring gently until just combined.
- Create the Nutella swirl by dropping spoonfuls into the batter and swirling with a knife.
- Fill the muffin tin cups about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
