Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt to the banana-butter mixture.
  4. Incorporate sugar, the beaten egg, and vanilla extract into the mixture.
  5. Add flour, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Create the Nutella swirl by dropping spoonfuls into the batter and swirling with a knife.
  7. Fill the muffin tin cups about two-thirds full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
