Scale
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add the melted butter and mix well.
- Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt. Stir until combined.
- Incorporate the sugar, followed by the beaten egg and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is combined.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour, stirring gently to avoid overmixing.
- Spoon a small amount of the batter into each muffin cup, filling about one-third full.
- Add a dollop of Nutella on top of the batter in each cup.
- Cover the Nutella with more batter, ensuring it’s completely sealed.
- Swirl the Nutella into the batter using a toothpick or skewer for a marbled effect.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
