Description

A delightful twist on traditional lasagna made in one skillet, offering a quick and delicious family meal with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef. Once browned, add the onion and garlic. Cook until the beef is no longer pink and drain excess fat.
  2. Break the lasagna noodles into smaller pieces and add them to the skillet.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce and add 3 cups of water. Stir well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. Add dollops of ricotta and sprinkle mozzarella on top. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
