Ingredients
6–8 slices thick bread (brioche or challah)
4 large eggs
¾ cup milk
½ cup pumpkin purée
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp maple syrup
Pinch of salt
Butter for cooking
Instructions
1. Whisk eggs, milk, pumpkin, vanilla, spices, and syrup together.
2. Pour custard into shallow dish.
3. Dip bread slices for 5 seconds each side.
4. Heat buttered skillet on medium heat.
