These Quick & Easy Apple Bars are buttery, spiced, and ready in under an hour a cozy homemade treat everyone loves!
Ingredients
3 large apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan.
2. Whisk butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla together.
3. Stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
4. Fold in sliced apples.
5. Spread evenly in pan and bake for 28–32 minutes.
6. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Serve warm with ice cream or caramel drizzle.
