Ingredients
1 lb fresh mushrooms
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Clean mushrooms and trim stems.
3. Melt butter in a skillet until golden brown.
4. Add garlic and thyme; cook until fragrant.
5. Toss mushrooms in the browned butter mixture.
6. Roast on a lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes.
7. Let rest 2–3 minutes and serve warm.
Notes
You can substitute thyme with rosemary or parsley.
For a vegan option, use plant-based butter or olive oil.
