Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and salt.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Once your yeast mixture is foamy, add it to the flour mixture along with the olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary. Mix until cohesive.
  4. Knead the dough: Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Let the dough rise: Lightly grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven: As the dough rises, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Shape the muffins: Once risen, punch down the dough gently, divide into equal portions for the muffin tin.
  8. Prepare the muffin tins: Grease your muffin tins lightly, place each portion in the tins, and let rise for another 20 minutes.
  9. Add toppings: Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each muffin.
