Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water: Gradually stir in the warm water to form a sticky dough.
- Incorporate garlic and rosemary: Mix in the minced garlic and chopped rosemary until well combined.
- Allow to rise: Cover the bowl and let it rest in a warm area for about 60 to 120 minutes.
- Preheat your oven: Preheat to 450°F (230°C).
- Shape the dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
- Second rise: Place the loaf on a baking sheet, cover, and let it rise for another 30 to 45 minutes.
- Prepare for baking: Drizzle olive oil on top and score with a knife.
- Bake the loaf: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool before slicing: Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
