Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
  4. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften.
  5. Prepare the sauce by adding heavy cream, chopped basil, salt, and pepper; let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and shrimp mixture, adding pasta water if needed.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
