Description

A flavorful and hearty Smash Burger Bowl that combines classic burger ingredients served over crispy potatoes for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 medium red potatoes, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup onions, caramelized
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ cup sliced pickles (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes by tossing diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the potatoes in an air fryer at 400°F for 16 to 18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  3. Caramelize the onions in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Cook the ground beef in the same skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Prepare the sauce by whisking mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Cajun seasoning together in a small bowl.
  6. Assemble the bowls by layering crispy potatoes, cooked beef, caramelized onions, and shredded cheese.
  7. Add the sauce and optional toppings such as pickles and lettuce.
