Description

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream or ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mix the sliced bananas with brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  4. Spread the banana mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Combine flour, milk, sugar, melted butter, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Layer the batter over the banana mixture.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes
