- 6 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
- Mix the sliced bananas with brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- Spread the banana mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Combine flour, milk, sugar, melted butter, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Layer the batter over the banana mixture.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
