Description
Crispy, golden Spinach Puffs filled with creamy cheese and herbs a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion!
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 ½ cups chopped spinach
½ cup cream cheese
¼ cup shredded mozzarella
1 egg (for brushing)
1 small onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil.
3. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
4. Combine spinach with cream cheese and mozzarella.
5. Cut pastry into squares and fill each with spinach mixture.
6. Fold diagonally, seal edges, and brush with egg.
7. Bake 18–20 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Tip: Drain spinach well to avoid sogginess.
You can freeze unbaked puffs for up to 3 months and bake from frozen.
