- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank steak), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the steak by seasoning it with salt and pepper and searing in a hot skillet with olive oil for 3 to 5 minutes until browned.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, honey, and sriracha to the skillet, stirring to combine and letting it simmer for a few minutes.
- Combine the cooked steak with the sauce, tossing until well-coated.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet, and toss everything together until combined.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute steak with tofu or tempeh and add veggies for extra nutrition.
