Description

A delightful fusion of savory steak, sweet honey, and spicy sriracha in a hearty pasta dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank steak), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the steak by seasoning it with salt and pepper and searing in a hot skillet with olive oil for 3 to 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add soy sauce, honey, and sriracha to the skillet, stirring to combine and letting it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked steak with the sauce, tossing until well-coated.
  6. Add the drained pasta to the skillet, and toss everything together until combined.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute steak with tofu or tempeh and add veggies for extra nutrition.
