Description

A healthy and delicious baked salmon dish with asparagus, enhanced by a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut a large piece of aluminum foil.
  3. Lay out the salmon fillets on one side of the foil.
  4. Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the salmon.
  5. Mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the salmon and asparagus.
  7. Fold the aluminum foil over the salmon and asparagus to create a sealed packet.
  8. Bake the packet on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh salmon and don’t overcook it. Experiment with different vegetables if desired.
