- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Start by cooking the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain and Cool: Drain the pasta and cool it under cold running water or at room temperature.
- Prepare the Dressing Base: In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, and Greek yogurt (if using).
- Add the Vegetables: Stir in the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and celery.
- Mix in the Pasta: Gently fold the cooled pasta into the mixture.
- Add Flavor: Squeeze in lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
- Chill: Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
