- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then add oil, water, sugar, and vanilla; stir until smooth.
- Add eggs and whisk until uniform.
- Fold dry mixture into wet mixture until just combined.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts, if using, and fold gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
