Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter, whisking until smooth.
  3. Combine wet and dry mixes: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Prepare the skillet: Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
  5. Pour the batter: Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Cook the pancakes: Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
