Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup sourdough bread, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the sourdough bread by cutting it into small cubes and tossing with melted butter.
  3. Spread the buttered bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake the croutons for 10 to 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Make the dressing by combining mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Combine the chopped romaine lettuce and croutons in a large salad bowl.
  7. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss until well coated.
  8. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired, and serve immediately.
