Ingredients

- 1 large head of romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup sourdough bread, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the sourdough bread by cutting it into small cubes and tossing with melted butter.
- Spread the buttered bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake the croutons for 10 to 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Make the dressing by combining mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in a bowl.
- Combine the chopped romaine lettuce and croutons in a large salad bowl.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss until well coated.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired, and serve immediately.

Store salad components separately for best freshness. Dress just before serving.
