  • 0.5 cup fresh key lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons key lime zest
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
  • 2 tablespoons key lime and/or lemon zest (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
  2. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Prepare the Baking Pan: Lightly spray an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
  4. Make the Crust Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
  5. Press the Mixture: Firmly press the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake the Crust: Bake for 7 minutes, then let it cool completely.
