- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine in a large mixing bowl the rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.
- Add the shredded cheese, frozen peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix everything until well combined.
- Prepare a greased casserole dish with the mixture spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Can be served with a side salad or crusty bread. This dish is great for using leftover chicken and rice.
